Knitting kit -Medvindby Elsebeth Judith
The Medvind is a beautiful jumper that I loved to knit!
It's an oversized jumper with dropped shoulders (the shoulder seam is placed at the back of the jumper.)
With its swan neckline, the split collar with curved front lines and extends our neck.
The jumper is knitted from top to bottom in "Half Fisherman's" rib."
Medvind is available in sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
corresponding to sizes XS (S, M, L/XL, 2XL, 3XL) with an easy fit and narrow sleeves.
Don't be afraid of the positive ease! The Fisherman rib pattern is a lovely stitch pattern, but also "lively" and it shortens and stretches, but the i-cords keep the jumper in shape.
Sample shown is size 3 (worn with approximately 38 cm/15″ of positive body ease) at sleeve length. 44 cm/17.25" overall.
Medvind has completed the chest measurement: 113 (121, 129, 137, 145, 153) cm/44.5 (47.5, 50.75, 54, 57, 60.25) inches.

The quantity needed for each size from 1-6 is :
finished size of :
(1) 113 to (2) 121 cm: 4 skeins of 100 gr.
3 (129), 4 (137) *5 (145) cm: 5 skeins of 100 gr.
⇒* Note that size 5, according to the pattern would require 5.07 skeins (I calculated 5 skeins, because for me I used 38 gr less than my size required)
6 (153) cm: 6 skeins of 100 gr.

Sample:
In jersey, 20 stitches x 44 rows for 10 cm.
Suggested needle in pattern: 4 mm, 3.5 mm
*Butbe careful! Don't forget to make your sample and adapt your needles accordingly!
I highly recommend this pattern, it's a wonderful project.
