Here is Impératrice, Super Kid Mohair. This yarn is the softest and rarest, meaning the most luxurious mohair that exists.
Super Kid Mohair is harvested from the first shearing of baby Angora goats. Consequently, these fibers are the softest and finest that these goats will produce.
Impératrice is composed of 72% Super Kid Mohair and 28% silk. In other words, it’s soft enough to wear next to the skin.
Impératrice is airy. It can be knit as a single strand, and if held double or even more, it creates different textures and thicknesses. It can also be used with another yarn, adding a beautiful halo and producing a warm fabric.
This luxurious, delicate and resilient fiber, I call it Impératrice inspired by a favorite series of mine since I was very little: “Sissi”.
