Description

From British fibers, Bluefaced Leicester is commonly known as BFL. It has a beautiful sheen and drape. Although it is less elastic than merino and slightly more rustic, this wool wears very well against the skin. BFL has an exceptional fall and makes for a very wearable knit.

Lancelot is a well rounded, 100% washable and well twisted BFL knitting yarn. It is available in the Lancelot fingering and DK yarn sizes. It is quite firm, especially when knitted with smaller needles. As with all BFL wools, it gives structure to your knits. Ideal for your sweaters and accessories, warm and comfortable.

Moreover joined to a mohair yarn, it is simply... a real happiness!

Our wools are hand dyed, so please allow for the amount needed for your projects, as the color may vary from bath to bath. We take great care to reproduce the color of our images as closely as possible, however, screen displays may vary. Therefore, the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed. For a more uniform knit, I recommend that you alternate your skeins.

For maintenance:

Although Lancelot is washable (sw) it would be best to wash your knitwear by hand and dry it flat.
