This combination of kid mohair and mulberry silk produces the softest, fluffiest, and most luxurious silk mohair.
KFO Soft Silk Mohair is a lace-weight yarn that can be worked alone or doubled for light and fluffy knits, or knitted with our Merino yarns.
Our mohair comes from Angora goats raised in South Africa, and the yarn is also produced locally.
Our yarns can be traced back to individual farms, which means we know exactly which farms, which farmers, and which goats our wool comes from.
All our mohair is independently certified according to the Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS), certified by Control Union, CU 1276494.
