Knitting kit - Renaissance Sweater by Elenor Mortensen

 

Renaissance Sweater is a sweater with a jacquard pattern.

Renaissance is a top-to-bottom knitted sweater with narrow sleeves and a relaxed fit on the body.
A large floral motif extends over the yoke and further down the sleeves and body.

The model can be knitted in 2 different stitch samples, making it possible to obtain 10 different chest sizes from the 5 sizes.

The knitting kit includes :

Quantity required, based on Aristo fingering.

Suggested sizes: Choose your bust circumference + desired ease of movement: 1 2, 3 (4, 5)

Sample
1) 25 m x 33 rows = 4 " or 10 x 10 cm in single-color stockinette and yarn, after wet blocking.

Finished chest measurement 1: 35.4, 44, 51 (61.4, 71)" /90, 112, 131 (156, 180) cm (suggested needles 3.25 mm.)

OR
2) 27 m x 36 turns = 10 x 10 cm in plain and stranded jersey, after wet blocking.

Finished chest measurement 2: 32, 40.2, 47.2 (56.8, 64.4)" / 82, 103, 121 (145, 165) cm (suggested needles 2.75-3.00 mm.)

Sizes/quantities required (According to pattern 🙂

- 1 to 3 incl. : 3 skeins main color + 1 skein contrasting color.

- 4 : 3 skeins main color + 2 skeins contrasting color.

- 5 : 4 skeins + 2 skeins contrasting colors.

For sample 1 :

◊25m and 33 rows = 10 cm/4″ in "jersey stitch," knitted in the round, after blocking.

**Always use a needle size that provides the correct gauge.

You will also need, for the realization of the model of : (not included)

◊3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle suggested for ribs.
◊3 mm/US 2.5 circular needle suggested for body.

- Tapestry needle for tucking in threads.
-Scraps of thread for waiting stitches.
- Stitchmarkers.
