Knitting kit - Joinery by Yumiko Alexander
This top is assembled with five panels (two for the back and three for the front).
The Joinery is worked in a first panel, then you work the following panels by connecting them to the previous panel as you go along. This method of joining produces a cable-like texture and gives the top lots of character.
The use of two Coloris enhances the texture of the cables and creates a unique and original top.If you prefer, a single color can also be used to create a beautifully textured top.

FINISHED MEASURES
Chest: 47 (51, 55, 59, 63)"/118 (128, 138, 148, 158) cm
Length: choice of 18″, 20 ½" or 23 ¼"/45cm, 51.5cm or 58cm
Finished chest measurement 2: 32, 40.2, 47.2 (56.8, 64.4)" / 82, 103, 121 (145, 165) cm (suggested needles 2.75-3.00 mm.)
Sizes/quantities required (According to pattern for 18 inches long 🙂
- 1 to 2 incl. : 2 skeins main color + 1 skein cc.
- 4 to 5 included: 3 skeins main color + 1 skein contrasting color.
For the sample:
16 sts x 24 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch (blocked)
**Always use a needle size that provides the correct gauge.
You will also need, for the realization of the model of : (not included)
◊US 9/5.5 mm needles or the size required to obtain the gauge.
