Knitting kit -Dryade by Nathalie Bergeron.
The Dryade shawl is worked at an angle from tip to tip. Triangular shape.
The original design was made with 3 skeins of Flocon fingering.
Personally, I made the small version with a kit of His Majesty's colors: Greg in Tibet..
The Dryade knitting kit contains 3 skeins:
2x *His Majesty* + 1x Numa, or 2x Bamys + 1x Numa.
♥ S uggested bases: *HisMajesty* (compound base: 53% Baby alpaca and 34% silk and 13% cashmere. Untreated.)
or Bamys (compound base: 42% baby alpaca, 13% merino, 10% yak and 35% silk. Untreated).
And Numa (base material: 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk. Untreated.)
Knitting kit includes :
One complete skein, based on Numa + 2 skeins of Sa Majesté or Bamys.
Suggested size: small

Length: 72″/183 cm - Depth: 17″/43 cm.

For the sample :
◊22m =4 x 4 inches/10 x 10 cm, in flat-knit jersey stitch, washed and blocked. Suggested needle 4 mm/US 6
(the sample is not essential for this project, but will affect the final size and quantity of yarn used).
You will also need, for the realization of the model of : (not included)

According to Nathalie (the designer) Dryade was born, inspired by her beautiful soft colors.
In Greek mythology, the Dryads are forest nymphs.
The Dryade shawl is suitable for advanced beginners and above.
