Description

Double Brim Basic Bitch Beanie By Rene Keller

This toque has a double edge, which is what makes it so special. It is knitted on the Flocon base (worsted yarn). Simple and casual, easy to make to keep your ears warm!

Unlike most hats, it has no ribbing but holds the head extremely well.

It is knitted from the bottom up.

I knitted this double-edged hat last winter when it first came out. And I gave it a good try! Soft and so comfortable to wear. I made it on the Flocon base so that it would breathe well. It is easily adaptable. If you follow the pattern, it is a bit slutchie. However, if you do a few rows less, it can be well adjusted.

As an alternative, one could also take the Merlin base (fingering) and knit it with 2 strands together.

22 stitches - 28 rows = 10 cm
4.5 mm - US 7′

For the Double Brim Basic Bitch Beanie by Rene Keller, the kit consists of a skein of untreated worsted Flocon. Ideal for our outdoor walks!
