Batten Slipper Sock Knitting Kit - worsted by Sarah Opie
This is the Worsted Weight version of the Batten Slipper Sock, originally designed in DK Weight.
*I have made a choice of kit, however you can click here: Merlin and choose the colour of your choice select 2 or 3 skeins of the colour of your choice.
The Batten slipper sock knitting kit includes :
2 or 3 skeins of 354 metres of Merlin, (80% merino - 20% nylon).
* For this pattern, I used a double yarn(2 strands of Merlin knitted together, nylon for strength. Equivalent to a worsted yarn)

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
4mm circular needles (US SIZE 6) for Magic Loop
use the size needed to get the gauge
+ PLUS a spare needle of the same size or smaller.
You will also need :
a darning needle, to weave in the ends
a stitch mark, to mark the beginning of the
round scissors, or other thread breaking tool
optional: sock blockers and/or preferred blocking tools

Size 1 : Children's size (10 - 13 years) ; European size 35 - 37
Foot circumference: 7.5 inches; 19 cm
Size 2: European size 37 - 40
Foot circumference: 8.5 inches; 22 cm
Size 3: European size 41 - 43
Foot circumference: 9.5 inches; 24 cm
Size 4: European size 43+.
Foot circumference: 11 inches; 28 cm
Note: Rather than classifying sizes by gender, the sizes are based on foot circumference measurements, the length of the foot will be knitted according to the size of the shoe or the preferred cut
