Description
Alina is a soft blend of merino (83%) and linen (17%).
Very soft with a light tweed texture.
The two strands of this yarn have a medium twist so that they naturally and gently pull away from each other, giving the yarn a lively and textured appearance when knitted. For jumpers, the yarn is crisper than a plain yarn likeAristo, giving a more structured fabric. Ideal if you want a little more body in your finished product. For shawls, the lace stitches really stand out when the pleats open the holes in the lace.
Natural linen gives the yarn a textured finish with a subtle drape and produces a rustic, almost handspun look when knitted.
Our wools are hand dyed. Therefore, you must plan on the quantity needed for your projects, as the colour may vary from one bath to another. We take great care to reproduce the colour of our images as closely as possible, however, screen displays may vary. Thus the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed. For a more uniform knit, I recommend that you alternate your skeins.
