Description
Vini – Baby Llama is a magnificent yarn to discover!
(Baby, meaning the first shearing, which is the softest.)
Soft, highly insulating, and lightweight, it knits up perfectly on its own. It produces a fine halo.
It is a light fingering yarn. Untreated.
Its composition is 100% Baby Llama.
Despite the yarn weight, Vini produces a very warm knit.
Our yarns are hand-dyed. So be sure to plan the quantity you’ll need for your projects, as color can vary from one dye lot to another. We do our best to reproduce the color in our photos as faithfully as possible; however, screen displays can vary. As a result, the color of the skeins you receive may differ slightly from the photo shown. For a more even knit, I recommend alternating your skeins.
Suggested needle sizes and gauge:
Needles: 2.5–3.5 mm (US 1.5–4),
Yardage: 399 m/100 g.
Care:
Hand-wash with a wool wash such as Soak, ideally at room temperature (21°C). Avoid agitation or twisting.
Dry flat away from direct sunlight, do not wring or tumble dry.
Non-machine washable wool (non-SW).
Project suggestion knit with the Vini base – Baby Llama: Lenu (knit with one strand of Bamys)

This Baby Llama yarn—I named it Vini, a nickname I used for Vinicunca!
Vinicunca is a multicolored mountain located in the Andes Mountains in Peru.
Llamas live there primarily and in the mountains. And this one reminds me of the colors I give to this yarn…
