Description
Nuage is made of baby alpaca, Pima cotton, and Merino.
It’s light, soft, and airy.
Its blend of fibers makes it very versatile and it can be used in
several ways.
For example: it can be used as a Sport or DK weight,
depending on the needle size used.
It’s also used to replace a lace and fingering weight yarn knit together.
This creates a beautiful fabric that’s just as airy.
Another example is knitting Nuage together with a lace or fingering weight yarn.
To get a Worsted to Aran weight.
Plus, your knit stays as light as a cloud!
Not to mention its generous yardage of 400 meters per skein,
making for budget-friendly knitting projects.
Ideal for pullovers, sweaters, and shawls.
Whether you’re knitting it or wearing it, you’ll feel the… Nuage!
Our yarns are hand-dyed. So be sure to plan for the quantity needed for your
projects, as color can vary from one dye lot to another.
We take care to reproduce the color of our images as accurately as possible,
however screen display may vary.
Thus, the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed.
For more uniform knitting, I recommend alternating your skeins.
Care: Hand wash your untreated wool knits only. With
minimal agitation at room temperature (avoid temperature changes), and
dry flat.
