This top is assembled with five panels (two for the back and three for the front).

The Joinery is worked by first creating one panel, then working the subsequent panels by joining them to the previous one as you go. This assembly method creates a cable-like texture and gives the top a lot of character.
Using two colors highlights the cable texture and results in a unique and original top.

If you prefer, using a single color also creates a beautifully textured top.

The knitting kit includes:

Required quantity, based on Aliso DK, to make it.

Suggested sizes: Choose your bust circumference: 1, 2, 3 (4, 5)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust: 47 (51, 55, 59, 63)”/118 (128, 138, 148, 158) cm
Length: Choice of 18″, 20 ½” or 23 ¼”/45cm, 51.5cm or 58cm

Finished bust circumference for size 2: 32, 40.2, 47.2 (56.8, 64.4)” / 82, 103, 121 (145, 165) cm (suggested needles 2.75-3.00 mm.)

Sizes/quantities required (According to the pattern for 18 inches long:)

– 1 to 2 incl.: 2 skeins main color + 1 skein CC.

– 4 to 5 incl.: 3 skeins main color + 1 skein contrasting color.

For the gauge swatch:

16 sts x 24 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch (blocked)
**Always use a needle size that gives you the correct gauge.

You will also need, to complete the pattern: (not included)

◊US 9/5.5 mm needles or the size needed to obtain gauge.
