Description
The Knitting Kit – Shima Shawl by Beatrice Mase is asymmetrical and easy to knit. Starting from a central point, the three colors are knitted one after another in irregular stripe sizes.
The designer suggests three contrasting colors for an eye-catching effect, which explains the color choice for our Knitting Kit. Want a different base? Contact me by email or phone. The shawl can also be made with the Aristo base (merino-linen) or the Emi base (merino-silk).
The dimensions are approximately 220 cm long and 40 cm wide after blocking.
For making the pattern:
Needle required in the pattern: 3.5 mm
Gauge: 12 sts/27 rows according to the pattern for 5 cm in garter stitch.
Knitting Kit – Shima Shawl, pattern and photo by Beatrice Mase, is knitted with 3 skeins of Merlin and/or Aristo base.

In conclusion, note that the stripes make the Shawl very addictive!
