Description

The Flourish Knitting Kit by Janina Kallio is rectangular (parallelogram) in shape.

Note that this pattern comes with 3 other shawls: First Blooms, and 2 others that will be released, 1 in September and the other in December

for a total of 4 patterns.

It’s a simple shawl knitted in garter stitch with a simple lace pattern.

The lace stitch pattern is offset to add movement and interest to the project!

Increases are made on one side and decreases on the other (hence its parallel shape).

It begins and ends with a delicate mesh lace.

To make the Flourish Shawl, you’ll need:

1 skein of Numa, 800 m / 100 g.

Composition:

70% baby alpaca and 30% silk (untreated).

You’ll also need, to make the pattern:

Needle required in the pattern: 4 mm

For the gauge:

Gauge: 20 sts / 44 rows according to the pattern for 10 cm (in garter stitch)
