Super Kid Mohair-Silk-Impératrice

Here is the Impératrice super kid mohair and silk yarn. This yarn is the softest and rarest, the most luxurious mohair that exists.

Super kid mohair is harvested from the first shearing of baby Angora goats. Consequently, these fibers are the softest and finest that these goats will produce.

Impératrice is composed of 72% super kid mohair and 28% silk (super kid mohair silk yarn). In other words, it’s soft enough to wear next to the skin.

Impératrice is airy. It knits as a single strand, and if held double or even more, it creates different textures and thicknesses. It can also be used with another yarn (mohair yarn and BFL for example), adding a beautiful halo and producing a warm fabric.

Our yarns are hand-dyed, so you need to plan the quantity needed for your projects as the color may vary from one dye lot to another. We pay attention to reproducing the color of our images as faithfully as possible, however screens may cause it to vary. Thus the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed. For more uniform knitting, I recommend alternating your skeins.

Care:

Hand wash your untreated wool knits only. Water should ideally be between 25 and 30°C without too much agitation. Lay flat to dry.
