The Mended Cowl begins with a provisional cast-on. Then you knit a tube in the round and join it with a Kitchener bind-off.

This pattern plays with color and texture mixing to create a “woven” finish.

The pattern suggests 5 sizes; the kit is based on the adult small to medium size, for a close-fitting cowl.

1 skein of Flocon DK base, 225 m/100 g.

And 3 contrasting colors for an additional 273 meters.

Size:

Adult small – medium (yarn quantity with kit will provide up to medium size +/-)

Dimensions:
Neck circumference: up to 50-60 cm / 20-25 inches.

For the gauge:

◊24 sts x 24 rows = 4 x 4 inches / 10 x 10 cm, in stockinette stitch, in the round after blocking.
