Beginner Crochet Class<\/p>\n
In this class, you will learn the basics of crocheting.<\/p>\n
Duration: 6 weeks,<\/p>\n
2.5-hour sessions per class.<\/p>\n
Start: September 3 (break on Oct 1) ends October 15<\/p>\n
From 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.<\/p>\n
Class content:<\/p>\n
An overview of the main fibers.<\/p>\n
Learning:<\/p>\n
A variety of different stitches,<\/p>\n
increases and decreases<\/p>\n
Crocheting in the round.<\/p>\n
The beginner crochet class is ideal for someone who has never held a crochet hook.<\/p>\n
You will learn the basics; how to hold the hook and tension the yarn, basic stitches,<\/p>\n
How to create straight edges, as well as basic increases and decreases.<\/p>\n
Project:<\/p>\n
You will make 2 projects: a dishcloth and a triangular shawl.

What’s included:<\/p>\n
This class includes the cotton needed to make a dishcloth, course notes, and the patterns for both projects.<\/p>\n
Then you will make your small triangular scarf.<\/p>\n
Prerequisites: none.<\/p>\n
***You can purchase the necessary materials at the shop:

\n\u2013 Crochet hook
\n\u2013 Stitch markers
\n\u2013 Tapestry needle.<\/p>\n
You should bring:<\/p>\n
Supplies for taking notes;<\/p>\n
notebook or paper, pencils (lead, pen, highlighters, and colored), eraser, and scissors.<\/p>\n
