Description
This is Empress silk and mohair super kid yarn. This yarn is the softest and rarest, most luxurious mohair there is.
We harvest the super kid mohair at the first shearing of the Angora goat babies. As a result, these fibers are the softest and finest these goats will produce.
TheEmpress is made of 72% super kid mohair and 28% silk (super kid mohair silk yarn). In other words it is soft enough to wear on the skin.
The Empress is airborne. She knits in single yarn, moreover if held in double or even more, she creates different textures and thicknesses. It can also be used with another yarn (mohair yarn and BFL for example), so it adds a nice halo and produces a warm fabric.
Our wools are hand-dyed, so you must plan the quantity necessary for your projects because the colour can vary from one bath to another. We pay attention to reproduce the color of our images as faithfully as possible, however the screens may vary. Thus, the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed. For a more uniform knitting, I recommend that you alternate your skeins.
Maintenance:
It is mandatory to hand wash your untreated wool knitwear. The water should ideally be between 25 and 30 °C without too much agitation. Dry them flat.
