The Grey Mist Shawl is worked on the bias from one point to the other. Its triangle shape is asymmetrical.

The super-kid mohair forms a fine mist and pairs well with the simple lines of this shawl.

The stitches used are: stockinette stitch, garter stitch, and slipped stitches.

It’s easy to block, making it a great vacation project for knitting at the beach or in front of the TV!

The Grey Mist Shawl is a true go-to! You’ll want to keep it always within reach.

It’s very light, as the main color yarn is a Lace (La Numa) with a small touch of super kid mohair.

Whether at the office or a restaurant to cut the air conditioning chill, or on a patio for cooler evenings.

It’s a quick project despite being a lace weight yarn, because it’s knit on 3.5 or 4 mm (US 4-6) needles (depending on your gauge).

♥ Suggested base: Numa ⇔ choose your color. (70% untreated Baby Alpaca and 30% Silk.)

Contrasting yarn: half a skein of Impératrice.

The knitting kit includes:

One full skein of Numa base + 1/2 skein of Impératrice.

You’ll have enough of the main color, either to:

add a pretty fringe or make a few more repeats.

Measurements:

Length: 80”/203 cm – Depth: 18”/51 cm.

For the gauge:

◊22 sts x 40 rows = 4 x 4 inches/10 x 10 cm, in stockinette stitch on a 4.5 mm/US 7 needle

(gauge is not essential for this project, but will affect the final size and amount of yarn used.)
