First stitches of my diary...

Fibrani's Diary

Today my shop of hand-dyed wools in Trois-Rivières, Qc is online . It's the front page of Fibrani's new newspaper...it's the big news of the day, at least for me.

If you're reading this, then you know I'm a new dyer!

I'm excited (actually I'm scared, but is that what they say?) and feverish at the same time.

I started dyeing on November 30, 2019, after having admired our extraordinary Quebec dyers so much that, by the way, I still admire...

All autumn and part of winter I was taming my pigments, my fibres and my cauldrons, I was dreaming about my first wool trunk show, about the desire to meet you and make you discover my colours, either towards the end of spring or at the beginning of summer with the heat, why not? But fate had decided otherwise ... "an undesirable" came to impose itself in our lives, in all our lives and changed the plans ...

Then what to do?

How do I do it?

How about my online wool store...?

The project was taking a different turn, and why not?

So I signed up for an online course at CEGEP to learn how to make my website .

Woof... no need to tell you I prefer wool to computers!

I'll tell you what my diary will be used for. There will be 3 categories:

  1. The News
  2. Knitting Ideas
  3. Tips and tricks
  • The Fibrani News with its fibres, its colours, its inspirations...
  • Knitting ideas will be pattern or wool or layout ideas to be able to realize them. If you use Fibrani wools to realize your projects, I would like to receive your photos to share them or share them on the website and social media. This way, you can contribute to make us known because... Fibrani wants to!
  • Finally, the tips and tricks will bring together tools that you can use to carry out your knitting projects. If you want to share some of them, let me know, they will be gathered here.

Fibrani will grow and evolve alongside you. So I hope to fulfill your desires of the moment. So don't hesitate to give me your comments, which fibres or colours you like or are looking for.

And to conclude, a simple but sincere thank you! Thank you for being here.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope to meet you in person soon!

As for me, I'm only a thread or a strand away from you! If you have any questions or suggestions contact me, by email, Facebook, Instagram or Ravelry.

Good knitting (and big hugs.)
