Description
La Tibétaine DK, a 60% merino, 20% silk, and 20% yak yarn, is silky and soft. The grey-brown-beige color of this base adds incredible depth to the dye.
With its yak content, La Tibétaine DK is very comfortable to wear against the skin.
Use it for your wool sweaters or accessories like beanies, scarves, and mittens.
Our yarns are hand-dyed. So you need to plan the necessary quantity for your projects, as the color may vary from one dye lot to another. We take care to reproduce the color of our images as faithfully as possible, however, screen displays may vary. Thus the color of the skeins you receive may vary slightly from the photo displayed. For more uniform knitting, I recommend alternating your skeins.
Care:
Hand wash your knits in cold water and lay flat to dry.
Gauge: 21-22 sts/4 inches
Yardage: 211 meters/100 g
Needles: 4 mm

This Merino, Silk, and Yak yarn is named Tibétaine DK in honor of the origin of wild yak herds!
